Spotlight: Cal Rotaract at Alliance for Smiles Gala

A Message of Thanks from Alliance for Smiles!

On Sat. 3/14, Rotaractors spent a glitzy evening helping out at the Alliance for Smiles annual fundraising gala.  This fancy event was held on the top floor of the Bank of America building in San Francisco–one of the tallest buildings in SF!  Needless to say, the view from the top was absolutely stunning.

At this event, Rotaractors worked the silent and live auction, raffle tickets, and greeting.  Everyone had a fabulous time!

Anita Stangl, Chief Executive Officer of Alliance for Smiles, sent us a very warm message of thanks — and we’re sharing it with you below:

I just want to thank you so much for coming with your fellow Rotaracters to help with our event. Your presence made a huge difference in our ability to successfully process the bids and make the evening flow smoothly. That means a lot to the success of the event. We thank you so much. You are a lovely group of young soon to be professionals. I feel honored to know and work with you. We will be sending you a small donation for your projects as a small way of saying thank you.
