OCT. 4 | Buddy Picnic, 11 am – 1 pm, Memorial Glade
Come meet your NEW Buddy!
Mark your calendars for the Buddy Picnic!
WHEN: Sunday, October 4
WHERE: Memorial Glade
TIME: 11am-1pm
Rotaract will be providing lunch (free food!) and activities, and you’ll get the chance to meet your Buddy in person!
This is a great, super chill event before you launch into heavy studying (or more service)! Besides, everyone needs to eat. So come on down to Memorial Glade, and relax a bit with your Rotaract friends!
What’s a BUDDY?!
The Buddy Program pairs up first year and transfer students with upperclass students to create camaraderie and long-lasting friendships. “Little” Buddies can get inside scoop on Berkeley from people who know the system, and “Big” Buddies have a chance to impart their years of wisdom and relive the experience and excitement of being new to Berkeley.
WHOA, SO COOL! How do I get one?!
Email our Fellowship Director Sophia at fellowship@calrotaract.org for more information.
All buddies are required to fill out ONE (just ONE!) super quick survey so that we can pair you up with someone with similar interests as you!
