Welcome (back) to Cal! We hope everyone has had an awesome summer! The semester has kicked off and soon so will Rotaract! As a heads up, our First General Meeting will be on Tuesday September 14th at 7PM in 2040 VLSB. Aug. 24 | Ice Blocking with CalRotaract | 7:30 PM @ 4.0 Hill
To kick off the new school, CalRotaract has an awesome Berkeley experience for you – ICE BLOCKING DOWN 4.0 HILL!

How to sign up:
* If you’re interested in having fun, just show up and meet us at the event
* If you’re interested in volunteering (see below) for hours, please email secretary@calrotaract.org
* Remember to BRING your friends, roommates, floormates, apartmentmates!
What to bring:
* Warm clothes — remember, it’ll be a little wet & a little grassy, so wear clothes you’re okay with getting dirty!
* Gloves, if you have them
* Old t-shirt or towel to dry off
* Flashlight
* Camera (you’ll want to document the experience)
Volunteers Needed:
We’ll need current members’ help to make this a memorable experience! Volunteer will help pass out goodies, pass out towels & old tshirts (to dry off), and direct the traffic of the event. You’ll get hours for however long you help — and once you’re done volunteering, come out and play!
We’ll be providing warm, delicious snacks at the event! Yum yum, so come out and play, eat, and meet new friends!
Saturday Aug 7.| Rotaract/Interact BBQ | 10:00 AM @ Tilden Park
We kicked off this summer with a picnic so why not end it with another one! This time however, we will be joined by our friends from the newly established East Bay Rotaract and Berkeley Interact clubs!
Did you know that the Tilden Regional Park in North Berkeley has a long history with Rotary? Join us on this hike and potluck BBQ to find out! We will be explore the Redwood Grove, embark on a scavenger hunt and, and end the afternoon with a gorgeous view of the Bay Area.
Bring a small dish to share, and while you’re at it, grab a few friends to join us! This will PROBABLY be the last Rotaract event this summer before school starts so please sign up below!
