These prosthetic hands will go directly to children affected by mine-fields and active war-zones around the world. Thousands of these prosthetic hands have already been distributed to people in Ecuador, Columbia, Vietnam, Indian and Afghanistan. I. WHY JOIN ROTARACT?
————————————————————
Rotaract is an international service club for individuals between the ages of 18-30. As one of Rotary International’s official youth programs, members of Rotaract clubs (known as Rotaractors), are part of the world’s largest service organization. Rotaractors perform service both locally and internationally, changing the world one person at a time!
For those of you who are still unsure about joining Cal Rotaract, here are some key points to remember as to why we’re different from every other community service club out there!
* Strong repertoire of international service!
* Rotarian support and professional development through resume building, interview practice, public speaking, event planning, and more!
* Direct participation through our committees.
* Member rewards and online service hour tracking!

II. How to Sign Up for Events/Meetings
————————————————————
At each general meeting, we hand out sign-up sheets where you can indicate your interest in events. Turn them in by the end of the meeting so we can know to email you more information.
If you are not able to come to our general meetings, you can sign up online! When you read the upcoming events (below), you will see the details for an event as well as the contact information and a link to our event page, which is where you’ll sign up.
1. Click on the event link under event description. Once you reach the event page, you should see “Signups for [Event, Date].”
2. Look for your name on the Dropdown menu. If your name is not on the list, click “[Not on List] and enter your first and last name, email, and phone number. Click on “Add to List” to sign-up for the event or “Remove from List” to remove yourself from the sign-up list.
Pretty easy, right? If you have any questions, please contact our webmaster William at wmok@calrotaract.org.
