I. WHY JOIN ROTARACT?
Rotaract is an international service club for individuals between the ages of 18-30. As one of Rotary International’s official youth programs, members of Rotaract clubs (known as Rotaractors), are part of the world’s largest service organization. Rotaractors perform service both locally and internationally, changing the world one person at a time!
For those of you who are still unsure about joining Cal Rotaract, here are some key points to remember as to why we’re different from every other community service club out there!
Strong repertoire of international service!
Rotarian support and professional development through networking, event planning, and more!
Direct participation through our committees.
Member rewards and online service hour tracking!
II. How to Sign Up for Events/Meetings
At each general meeting we will hand out sign-up sheets where you can indicate your interest in events. Please turn them into an officer by the end of the meeting so we can know to email you more information!
If you are not able to come to our general meetings, you can still sign up online! When you read the upcoming events (below), you will see the details for an event as well as the contact information and a link to our event page, which is where you’ll sign up.
1. Click on the event link under event description. Once you reach the event page, you should see “Signups for [Event, Date].”
2. Look for your name on the Dropdown menu. If your name is not on the list, click “[Not on List] and enter your first and last name, email, and phone number. Click on “Add to List” to sign-up for the event or “Remove from List” to remove yourself from the sign-up list.
Pretty easy, right? If you have any questions, please contact Jahlela (jhasle@calrotaract.org) or Jessica (jchou@calrotaract.org).
** We are currently in the process of updating the look & feel of our website, so not all the event sign-ups will be up. Thank you for bearing with us during this transition! **
