We hope you’re all looking forward to Rotaract’s first service project of the semester!
This event is going to be an amazing, weekend-long beautification project in which we’ll clean up an old property and build a children’s playground on top, from start to finish! Dress in comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. All shifts will receive free lunch!
Please SIGN UP HERE so we can give Rotarians a head count so they can pick/drop us off! The Rotarians can take no more than 10 volunteers per shift, so if you see a shift that’s almost filled up, please consider doing a different one if at all possible!

September 18 | Rotary Picnic | 8:30AM-5PM | Tiburon + Angel Island
Come out and enjoy the sea breeze on an adventure to Angel Island! Join Berkeley Rotary and Cal Rotaract on a Ferry ride across the beautiful San Francisco Bay to visit the historic home of the “Ellis Island of the West”.
Hike through eucalyptus groves, play on the beach, socialize with Rotarians, relax, have fun, go exploring…Anything you like. Bring a sack lunch and a little something to share.
8:30 – Meet Rotarians at HS Lordships (Berkeley Marina)
9:00 – Carpool to Tiburon Ferry Terminal (~45 min)
10-5:00 – Ferries between Angel Island and Tiburon

– INTERNATIONAL (Polio Plus, Vitamin Angels, LN-4 Prosthetic Hands, Rotoplast)
Joining a Committee is a great way for you to take a leadership role in hands-on projects, and to present your own ideas (many of our projects are brought forward by members)!
