October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month!! To raise aid and show solidarity for those affected by breast cancer, Cal Rotaract National Committee is hosting a fun movie night!!

We will be showing: A Walk to Remember (2002), with Shane West and Mandy Moore.
Suggested Donation of $3 at the door will get you FREE popcorn!

Bring your friends — it’s a great movie, and really drives home the story of those who live with cancer.

Proceeds will go to our Making Strides for Breast Cancer team that will be walking this Saturday in Golden Gate Park. If you haven’t already, check out the event and sign up here!

Hey Rotaractors!

Dress up in PINK or WHITE to support the Breast Cancer Awareness theme this GM!

We will have a PHOTO BOOTH set up by Innovative Design to help you model those lovely pink-and-white outfits. Pictures will be available online later on the Cal Rotaract Facebook group!

Wearing pink and white will also be your ticket for FREE PINK LEMONADE and FREE STRAWBERRY/VANILLA ICE CREAM

Come find out what great events are coming up (our Ultimate Frisbee tournament, Spaghetti Feed for Vitamin Angels, Making Strides for Breast Cancer and more! We will also be having a guest speaker Cynthia Carlson from Be the Match in anticipation of our upcoming Bone Marrow Drive at the end of October.

Our Spaghetti Feed on Sunday 10/23 is our FIRST CLUB WIDE SOCIAL and the Rotaract District 5160 project! Find out more about it this Tuesday.

Come out and join Berkeley Rotarians and Cal Rotaract in improving the Berkeley community by renovating the Berkeley Rec Young Adult Program. We’ll be having lots of fun painting, cleaning and so much more! Plus all volunteers get a free-shirt!

There are two different shifts, and we will be meeting at the 51B bus stop at Bancroft & Telegraph to bus over together.
Morning Shift: 8AM – 12:00PM
Afternoon Shift: 12:00PM – 4PM
