November 16 | Aquatic Park | 9:05AM – 1:00PM | Meet at Telegraph/Bancroft bus stop

Join Cal Rotaract as we help preserve the natural beauty of a Berkeley landmark! Volunteers will be spreading wood chips around native plantings along the shoreline of San Francisco Bay at the south end of Aquatic Park in order to promote tree growth and prevent invasive weeds from entering the area. It’ll be an active, fun event with some beautiful scenery to boot. The work area’s proximity to the bay means it’ll be colder than normal, so we recommend layering up! All volunteers must wear solid, closed-toed shoes. Water & snacks will be provided~
