Surveys We are constantly trying to improve our organization so that we can provide the best for our members! In order for us to improve our events and meetings for the future we need your feedback on our past events. Surveys for each event are posted on the event Facebook page during the event so that members can fill out the surveys immediately after an event ends. Each survey you fill out is worth 30 membership points, and this semester we are enacting a new system in which the first 10 members to fill out our 10 surveys will receive a $10 Amazon gift card! The link to all our surveys can be found here

.
A huge congratulations to the 4 members who have already filled out 10 surveys: Jenny Garza, Justin Lee, Kylee Mebust, and Taylor Lee!

11/14: Interact Committee Meeting #10
105 Dwinelle | 6-7pm
Interact Committee’s main goal is to bridge the gap between the collegiate version of Rotary, Rotaract, with its high school branch, Interact. Our committee’s main project for the semester is the Cal Berkeley Rotaract Stayover (CBRS), in which we strive to empower youth to create a brighter and better tomorrow. This will be our final committee meeting to celebrate all of our committee members’ and volunteers’ hard work.

11/15: Final General Meeting: Harvest of Happiness
170 Barrows | 7-8pm | FB Event

Cal Rotaract welcomes you to our final general meeting! With the giant leaps we have made together in upholding Service, Leadership, Fellowship, and Rotary in addition to our goals: Service Education and Service Sustainability, our club has grown in heart, meaningful bonds, and unprecedented heights. Join us as we recap our past events such as End Polio Now 5K, and promote our future events including Operation Christmas Child and our final Family Competition. We will also be introducing Fellowship’s End-of-the-Semester Banquet, spotlighting our Family System’s small groups, announcing Members of the Month, 2017 Executive Board, and 2017 Officer Board applications.

170 Barrows | 8-9 pm
Interested in applying for 2017 Officer Board, or just interested to see what goes on during officer board meetings? Then come out to our open officer board meeting where you will get to sit in and see how officer board operates behind the scenes!

11/17: Officer Board Showcase / Q&A
56 Barrows | 7-8pm

11/18: Operation Christmas Child
166 Barrows | 5pm – 6:30pm | FB Event

Get excited and pumped because Local Committee and International Committee are hosting a joint event this coming Friday to package gifts into shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Using the $900 we’ve generated from our succulent fundraiser in September, we have purchased toys, toiletries, and school supplies that we will package and ship to children in third world countries, including India and the Philippines. Join our gift packaging party where we’ll be making personalized cards while bonding with other Rotaractors!

11/18: Last Family Competition: Minute to Win It
60 Barrows | 7-8:30pm | FB event

We will be having our last family competition of the semester, Minute to Win It, on Friday (11/18) from 7-8:30pmin 60 Barrows! Families will be pitted against other families in one minute challenges that may seem simple at first, but require focus, persistence, and a good strategy. You definitely don’t want to miss out on what surely will be an awesome event. Which family will come out on top? We’ll find out at the competition!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us online. You can also find us in person at our table on Sproul, MondayThursday from 10AM-2PM.

Yours in service,
