Join the Glasses Drive Committee

In fall 2008, Rotaract & Foresight joined together to launch a used glasses collection drive.

According to the World Health Organization, 250 million people in the world need corrective eyewear. But many people, especially those in developing countries, do not have access to eye care or eyeware.

Help make the difference.

On the committee, you will:

* Recruit & follow up with different eye clinics and offices
* Create & distribute collection kits throughout the local area
* Work closely with UC Berkeley School of Optometry students to neutralize the glasses before distribution
* Work closely with Foresight members in service
