Officers

Executive Officers

President: acts as a role model and representative of Cal Rotaract’s pillars of service, leadership, fellowship and Rotary; plans logistics of the club; cultivates a rich service and social environment for members to interact with one another; manages VPs and oversees the long term development of officers and committees

External Vice President: outreaches to campus organizations, acts as Rotary head-liaison to maintain relations with Berkeley Rotary Club and manages external officers to support event planning and facilitation

Internal Vice President: oversees behind the scenes club-wide operations, production of marketing materials used for promotional purposes, and manages internal officers to support creative projects on behalf of the club

Internal Officers

Design: designs marketing materials through Photoshop and/or Illustrator in order to promote club-wide events, activities, and opportunities.

Historian: documents club activities through photography and/or cinematography in order to showcase member involvement and the different components that make our club unique.

Human Relations: serves as our member liaison; organizes and analyzes member data in order to help improve the club and accommodate our members; informs and updates members of upcoming events, activities, and opportunities.

Treasurer: analyzes and organizes the club’s finances to ensure that club funds are properly secured, budgeted, and utilized.

Webmaster: manages our club’s website, which is a central platform for site visitors to learn more about the club, our committees, member activity, upcoming events and so much more.

External Officers

Fellowship Chair: coordinates and facilitates our General Meeting activities and club-wide socials for members to relax and make friends. Also organizes our club’s family system and facilitates family events in hopes to create a “Home Away from Home” environment for our members

Local Committee Chair: coordinates service opportunities through various partnership organizations around the Bay Area, for members who hope to make an impact in the local area.

International Committee Chair: coordinates service opportunities through various partnership organizations around the Bay Area, for members who hope to make an impact on a more international level.

Interact Committee Chair: coordinates and facilitates Interact Stayover along with committee members throughout the semester to have an impactful weekend with Interactors, while inspiring them to continue their service passions as they achieve a higher education.

Rotary Committee Chair: facilitates the mentorship program between Rotarians and members, as well as coordinate Ignitus which is a Ted Talk inspired event that intends to inspire the public that it is possible to continue service in the professional world.
