About me:

Hi everyone! My name is Tamara, and I’m from San Diego, CA. I’m a third year studying Applied Math and Computer Science. When I’m not busy with classes or running Rotaract, I like spending my time listening to music, trying out new drink places near campus, and getting sweet treats and BOGOs with my friends. If you ever see me around, probably with a drink in hand, don’t hesitate to say hi!

Why Rotaract?

I found out about Rotaract my freshman year through Pearl and came to love the people in the club. In high school, I always enjoyed participating in community service, so Rotaract allowed me to do so in the Berkeley area! Over time, I found myself investing more and more into the club, in which I ended up becoming the president of Rotaract!

About me:

Hi all! I’m Giselle Rosales, your treasurer and a second-year double majoring in Business Administration and Economics, minoring in Applied Mathematics. On my free time you’ll likely find me buried in a pile of horror and surrealist novels, or at our Valley Life Science Building studying alongside that big ol’ Tyrannosaurus Rex! When I’m not crunching numbers, you’re sure to find me drinking matcha at Binge, napping, or spending time with friends. Excited to connect with you all, feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat about any books or movies because I am a total binge reader and watcher!

Why Rotaract?

During my first GM at Cal Rotaract, I was nervous, but I was quickly heartened by everyone’s friendliness and dedication. I’ve since seen firsthand the dedication and the efforts put into creating an inclusive environment for students, while also giving back to the Berkeley community. Through small and large contributions, Rotaract has helped amplify the importance of volunteering and giving back. The people I’ve met at Cal Rotaract have reinforced my belief that any effort, big or small, can make all the difference!
